Spring is near! We’ve got the perfect list of activities to get you and the kiddos out of the house this spring break. East Central Indiana has plenty of activities to keep the entire family entertained.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

A Muncie tradition, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Friday, March 17th at 6:00 pm. Bring the family and join the city to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the right way. The parade will proceed south on Walnut Street to Charles St. and return via Mulberry St. Learn more here.

 

Mindbender Mansion at Minnetrista

Looking for something different this spring? Explore the mind-bending universe of the Mindbender Mansion at Minnetrista. Try brain-teasing activities and puzzles in this interactive activity that will surely be fun for the entire family. The Mindbender Mansion will operate until May 7th, stop by this spring break! Planetarium Showings

Get immersed in the galaxy with the new showings at the Charles W. Brown Planetarium. This spring the planetarium will have showings of “Birth of Planet Earth” on March 3 at 6:30 pm, “ To Space and Back” on March 4th at 3:30 pm, and “Big Astronomy” on March 4th at 5:00 pm. Muncie Indiana Exotic Pet Expo

Visit the Delaware County Fairgrounds to check out rare and exotic animals and some of the world’s most tropical plants. The Exotic Pet Expo will occur Sunday, March 19th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Catch this event before it leaves this spring, it will return this summer. Learn more here
